Thoughts On The NBA Finals

Black Mamba strikes again taking down Superman and company in the NBA finals. Bryant didn't play his best series ever but he was still able to make the plays his team needed him to make to win the series. With solid play from Pau Gasol all series long the Lakers really hurt the Magic with the pick and roll, using Bryant and Gasol to split the Magic defense and open up there shooters. Not to be overshadowed Lamar Odom showed everyone watching the series hes able to play up to his potential also! Trevor Ariza's defense and Derek Fishers huge shots at the end of game four also made a huge impact on the series.

Has a Magic fan I would also like to say I'm proud of how far they went this year. Going into the playoffs I was only hoping to take down one of the big two in the east (Celtics or Cavs) we took both of those teams out on our way to the finals. In the finals we were just over matched and out willed by a better team. But outside of game one and game five we actually played well letting game two slip out of there grasp really hurt them though, after doing that they came out swinging in game three and won for the first time ever in the NBA finals. But all that ended down the stretch of game four with two shots from Derek Fisher the Lakers ended all hopes of a championship this year for Orlando.

Vikings Quarterback Situation

We've heard plenty about this during the off season and has a real Vikings fan, Im pretty tired of it.

Theres alot of storys out there about Favre and not many of them make since to me, why does a team with so much going for them want a quarterback that wont be around for more then a year. You can tell me all you want about him being able to take us to the next level but is it really true ? I doubt it its not 2003 its 2009 and things have really changed hes alot older and still just has dumb with the ball in his hands its just now when he gets dumb his arm isnt has strong and the mistakes actually show.

This is coming from a guy that actually respected Favre a few years back, he was the best for a while and the face of a franchise. Its just hard for an old school fan like me to see a player who should have retired and excepted a part of life turn on his former team, and want so badley to be a part of a team that happens to be one of there biggest rivels. I dont think its football hes coming back to I think its a shot at beating the Packers, and if thats the case the Vikings dont need him at all thats two games out of the year even if we win both it wont get us where we can go.

I for one think the Vikings are set at quarterback whats Tavaris Jackson done to make people think he cant be a starter and winner in the NFL right now. Last year in nine starts he passed for nearly nine hundred yards eieght touchdowns and only two interceptions. On a team that runs the ball first and most of the time on second and third down also what more can you ask for. Yea hes been hurt and missed alot of games but hes also play through alot of injuries. Part of that might just be because he doesnt know how to take an NFL hit yet and if thats the case itll come to him. After three years playing for us I think hes our guy and I really think he can lead us to the Super Bowl this year.

The Vikings just need to step back and realize they shouldnt put a team with so much talent in the hands of a guy that wont be there that long if things dont got right.
